The Earth is the Highest Form of Agape
Please Join us on Saturday July 19th from 5pm-8pm <3 TO RSVP click on flier
This exhibition, curated by Juliet Rania, explores the ancient concept of Agape - a form of love defined by radical selflessness - unconditional, non-possessive, and rooted in care for the other. Featuring works by Aleqth, Saskia Friedrich, Danielle Gadus, William Kim, Clare Koury, Pipi Deer, Sabrina Mansouri, Jo Shane, Grace Jung, Zeljko McMullen and Nico Alonso.
Akashic Records reading by Kat Hunt at 6pm (this will be held in Sky Pentacle by Mamoun Nukumanu) and performance by Sal Chen at 7pm (location on property TBD).
This exhibition invites viewers to consider the Earth as a living embodiment of that love — a provider, sustainer, and witness to all life. Through painting, installation, sculpture and mixed media, these artists reflect on the fundamental principles of circularity, origin, and return. The works ask us to consider what we plant — literally and metaphorically — and what we will inevitably harvest, now and in generations to come.
"Driven by the forces of love, the fragments of the world seek each other so that the world may come into being."
— Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
